About
Wavebrake

✔ Endorsed by Coastal Engineers

✔ Used in Marinas, Harbors, Lakes & Coastal Properties

✔ Environmentally Friendly | Modular | Site-Specific

✔ Available as a removable or permanent wave attenuation system

Wavebrake is a custom-engineered wave attenuation system that reduces destructive wave energy, protects docks and shorelines, and prevents erosion — without concrete seawalls or environmental damage.

Wave Damage Compounds Over Time

The sooner wave energy is controlled, the less costly repairs become.

Wavebrake works by disrupting the natural flow of incoming waves.

As wave energy passes through the system:

* Turbulence is created
* Friction extracts energy from the wave
* The wave loses height, force, and impact

This process is called wave attenuation — reducing wave energy without reflecting it back into the water, which is what causes damage with traditional breakwaters.

The result is calmer water, protected structures, and stabilized shorelines.

How it Works

Why Wavebrake?

Traditional seawalls, stone breakwaters, and concrete pontoons:

* Are expensive and permanent
* Reflect wave energy, causing collateral damage
* Disrupt marine ecosystems
* Cannot adapt to changing shoreline conditions

Why does Wavebrake work?

Wavebrake:

* Absorb and dissipate wave energy
* Is modular, adjustable, and scalable
* Has no water-depth limitations
* Produces little to no wave reflection
* Can achieve wave attenuation of up to 85% depending on configuration

Where is Wavebrake used?

* Marinas & Harbors
* Residential Shorelines
* Dock & Boat Lift Protection
* Beach Stabilization
* Erosion Control
* Wake & Wind Barriers
* Safe Boating Zones
* Fish Habitats & Living Shorelines

If waves are causing damage, Wavebrake can be engineered to solve it.

* No dredging or heavy equipment
* No disruption to marine life
* Allows natural water circulation
* Can promote sediment accretion
* Often considered a “fish habitat”
* No negative environmental impact during or after installation

Wavebrake is frequently approved where traditional structures are denied.
